  • Room Bastogne

    ©Oswald Pauwels M&L

X-ray equipment was also used during World War II by the medical services of the army. Understandably,in the given circumstances the equipment needed to be compact, robust and easy to transport. In the Bastogne room we show the standard equipment as it was dropped by the American air force in Bastogne during the “battle of the bulge” in December 1944.
