Thanks to growing awareness and screening, breast cancer can be detected precociously, and is consequently responsive to treatment; this shows the need to keep a watch on oneself. If screening is everyones business, it remains the responsibility of each.

In parallel with the prominence given to Congo by Belgium during this year, the Museum will develop onApril 23, a synergy by the inauguration of a reconstitution of the radiological practice in the Congolese bush. This will be preceded by talks on the situation in Belgian Congo at the end of the 19th century and on the "military radiology" on the field. The inauguration will be ornamented by a piano recital.

In Autumn a overview was given of the history of vascular radiology on one hand, and the evolution of medical dosimetry starting from the discovery of Roentgen on the other hand, ending with radioprotection recommendationswhen proceeding interventional procedures.

Celebration of the museums 15th anniversary!
